Powder Coating
What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a process that provides a high quality, durable protective finish over, typically, a metal substrate. Application is done using a spray gun that applies an electrostatic charge to the powder particles that attach through attraction to the grounded portion. The powder coated piece then is transferred to a curing oven which results in a molecular chain that is ultra resistant to breakdown.
Why Choose to Powder Coat?
Powder coating provides a protective finish more durable than any liquid paint can offer, while still being an attractive option. Products that are powder coated are more resistant to diminishing due to impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and extreme weather. While also being the highest quality choice in protection, powder coatings are available in an almost limitless range of colors and textures making it the durable, attractive, cost effective, and environmentally friendly choice!
